10. VISITOR ANALYTICS TECHNOLOGY: GOOGLE ANALYTICS 4

Our website utilizes Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to help us better understand user behavior on our site. GA4 allows us to analyze how visitors interact with our website, which in turn enables us to improve the overall user experience and optimize our content.

Information Collected and Processed by Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 collects information about the usage of our website, such as page views, session duration, browser type, operating system, and geographic location. This information is gathered through the use of cookies and other tracking technologies. GA4 may also collect your IP address to help determine your approximate location. However, we have implemented IP anonymization to ensure that your IP address is partially masked before being sent to Google’s servers. As a result, your full IP address will never be stored or processed by Google.

The collected information is sent to Google’s servers in the United States, where it is stored and analyzed. Google uses this data to generate reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services related to internet usage. Google may also share this information with third parties when required to do so by law, or when such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

Google Analytics 4 Data Retention

We have configured Google Analytics 4 to retain user-level and event-level data for a period of 26 months. After this period, the data will be automatically deleted from Google’s servers. Aggregated data used for reporting purposes will be retained indefinitely.

Opting Out of Google Analytics 4

If you would like to opt-out of Google Analytics 4 tracking, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which is available for most major web browsers. This add-on will prevent your information from being collected and used by Google Analytics. For more information and to download the add-on, please visit the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Changes to this Section

We may update this section of our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of visitor analytics technology or changes to Google Analytics 4’s data processing practices. We encourage you to periodically review this section to stay informed about our use of Google Analytics 4 and your related choices.

By using our website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google in the manner and for the purposes described in this section of our Privacy Policy.
